I've made a decision, and I feel good about it. No more social media. I realize this will limit my reach, but my time and mental health are more important. While I haven't deactivated my TikTok and Instagram author accounts, I don't plan on posting anything new. Maybe I'll create an e-newsletter someday (I know, I know…the early 2000s called and want their idea back). As you probably realize by now, we have a dog named Jefferson. If you’ve ever had a dog, you’ve probably experienced the increasingly ridiculous nature of the nicknames bestowed upon said dog. “Jefe” (pronounced like the Spanish word for “boss”) is just one of the many nicknames we have for our pooch. And, well, “Tales” is a play on words since, y’know…dogs have tails.
